Scope of steam generation and injection
The proposal brings together the resources needed for the planned work. The scope is agreed with the client before equipment mobilization:

Tank and tank-farm heating
Stored heavy and extra-heavy crude loses fluidity over time, making pumping, transfer and dispatch more difficult. Steam injection restores manageable viscosity through a controlled, documented process:

Steam generator water treatment
Feedwater is critical to steam generator life and efficiency. We include comprehensive treatment:
- Ion-exchange softening: removal of calcium and magnesium
- Demineralization: reduction of total dissolved solids (TDS)
- Deaeration: removal of dissolved oxygen and CO₂
- Dosing of scale and corrosion inhibitors
- Periodic on-site water quality analysis
How do I request a quote for steam injection or boiler rental?
Specify the work location, whether it involves a well, pit or tank, the intended application and estimated duration. If available, include steam flow, pressure and temperature requirements, as well as water and fuel availability. This allows us to assess the equipment and proposal scope.
Do you accept steam injection requests outside Zulia?
Yes, we receive project requests throughout Venezuela from our base in San Francisco, Zulia. Service at each location depends on technical assessment, access, generator availability and transport logistics. These details are confirmed in the quote.

We have completed contracts in various oilfields in Zulia, achieving 100% execution with demonstrated recovery capacities of up to 1,500 barrels per day.
How is a crude oil tank heated with steam?
Steam from the OTSG unit is injected through tank coils or direct injection lances, depending on the installation. Transferred heat reduces stored heavy crude viscosity until it can be pumped. The target temperature is maintained throughout transfer or dispatch, with records of temperature, pressure and steam consumption.
What does fully automated equipment mean?
Our steam generators have automatic controls for steam production: pressure, temperature, water flow and combustion. This provides greater personnel safety, equipment reliability and consistent steam quality throughout the operation.
Do you provide seal heating for vessel loading?
Yes. We mobilize steam generation units to docks or terminals to maintain the temperature of loading pump mechanical seals and discharge lines, preventing extra-heavy crude from solidifying during vessel loading.
What is included besides the steam generator?
The service includes the steam generator, feedwater treatment (softening and deaeration), technical operators, maintenance personnel and operational documentation. Solidified oil recovery from pits or channels is handled through our dedicated thermal recovery service.
